Our Mission
The American Medical Student Association is a
national organization dedicated to representing and organizing physicians in
training. With a membership of nearly 30,000 medical students, premedical
students, interns and residents from across the country, AMSA continues its
commitment to improving medical training and the nation's health. The mission of
AMSA Premed is to provide information, support, and leadership development for
future physicians in training. As activists, we seek to foster our philosophy of
diversity and community service in the premedical student, while providing
benefits and services which aid future physicians in training as they prepare
